TRP visited Kudu Coffee and Craft Beer in May 2012 while touring the south side of Charleston, SC. We needed to get some work done and like to hit up coffee shops to plug-in and take advantage of the free wi-fi. Maria just happened to find the perfect place on Yelp that claimed to feature 12 taps of quality craft beer, KUDU Coffee and Craft beer. Local favorites such as Holy City share space with some other solid craft options like Avery, Southern Tier and Stone.

The actual space sports a comfy indoor area and nice courtyard outside with quite a bit of seating. Both sections have a lot outlets for plugging in to work. It has become a popular spot for College of Charleston students but maintains a mellow vibe if you really need to get some work done or just want a relaxed place to sip a brew. When you finish up you can grab a Kudu growler and take 64 oz of your favorite tap home ($5.50 with a growler fill and $10.50 empty).

Blind Lady Ale House

TRP visited Blind Lady Ale House in November of 2011. BLAH came highly recommended to us by beer geeks in the San Diego area and did not disappoint. Located in the Normal Heights area of San Diego it has great atmosphere that comes from an open layout, vintage beer bric-a-brac decorating the walls, and a dark wood interior. [...]
