2013 was a busy year for us here at The Roaming Pint. Along with switching coasts, Maria was globe trekking and even brought me along on one of her trips overseas. All the while we were busy discovering new beer cultures and meeting the wonderful people who have created it. Along the way we hit up 84 new breweries and quite a few that we had already been to.

Here are some highlights:

The Road Brewing Project  – I finally over came my excuses and brewed a batch of home brew in the RV.

Florida Brew Fests – With Florida Craft Beer Week in full swing we were able to attend not one but two beer fests in Ybor City and hang out with our new FL beer friends.

Good tunes, good people, and "those guys".

Stanley Visits St. Louis
– We had a great time hitting up four breweries in a three day span in this blooming craft beer metropolis.

Roam on the Range – It took us two years to get back to Kansas and we took full advantage visiting friends, attending beer events, and crossing some long overdue brewery visits off our list.

In Historic Downtown Parkville, MO

Parkville Microbrew fest is one of the best fests in the area and one of our favorites in general.

Hit 300 Breweries – We hit our 300th brewery of TRP’s endless road trip this summer and I nerdily made an infographic about it.

Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins…we did that – We love the Eastern Colorado cities. Though we’ve been to a ton of these breweries before they always seem to be adding new ones.

We do!

We do!

…and we interviewed some really really cool people:

Lauren Hoff: Napa of Beer
Tony Drewry: The Beer Pedaler
Heather Vandenengel: Beer Hobo

We have some exciting stuff planned for 2014 so keep an eye out, we might just be rolling through your neck of the woods.
